MAKE DEIJB MORE THAN A FAD

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion practices must be more than an HR hiring quota or checklist to look good. We want to create lasting, impactful, shifts in behavior and culture and so with a sense of gratitude, joy, & necessity.

BUILD SYSTEMS & PRACTICES

Using exercises, resources, and practices, everything is customized to you, your time, & your organization. Let's build a foundation that allows you to thrive in a world that better values and supports everyone equitably.

POLICY PLUS CULTURAL CHANGE

Culture eats policy for breakfast y'all. Clear policies are a great way to kick off and codify desired changes but must be tied to specific behavioral expectations and best practices to be impactful & lasting.

OUTSIDE EYE & SUPPORT

An outside POV, that is not entrenched in the history, hierarchy, or politics can offer new outlooks coupled with innovative solutions. We can also speak truth to power more safely & easily, relieving the emotional tax of many marginalized folx.

restorative justice pricing

I am committed to doing more than performative allyship. I walk the DEIJ-B walk in everything I do. My pricing can be adjusted to account for the pay inequities that continue to widen this year. I offer discounts to historically excluded & marginalized folx in an effort to correct the impact already experienced in our journey to become leaders. This might include women (especially Black, Latinx, & Indigenous women), BIPOC/POC, LGBTQIA2S+, folx living with a disability, and anyone at the intersection of of these identities.

ABOUT Kimberly A. MacLean

Kimberly has been at the forefront of thought leadership about how to combine the best practices of teaching with the benefits of interactive inquiry-based learning, agile thinking, diversity equity inclusion, belonging, and communication for over 20 years. She has impacted the culture at some of the world's most innovative companies around the world & supported dedicated leaders to step into their power. She specializes in creating safe spaces that encourage a growth mindset, good risk-taking, and listening with curiosity. Utilizing her M.Ed and background in social & restorative justice in education, she strives to make learning interactive, joyful, safe, and an opportunity for inquiry beyond the "classroom". SUPPORT & RESOURCES

Whether you need to convince the powers that be of the importance of bringing someone like me in to support changing culture, policy, & systems or maybe you just want to do better now that you know better have I got some resources for you. I am constantly accumulating, reading, and listening - THIS WORK IS MY JAM - and love sharing resources with you. I've done the vetting and gathering so you don't have to. I have intentionally worked to find material that can be read by assistive devices & gathered videos with CC and/or transcripts. I have also done my due diligence to curate work by a diversity of voices & lived experiences to ensure we are amplifying the voices of those that have been historically excluded from these conversations though they are often the ones most impacted by the outcomes. Unless stated I do not own any of this content. I am not affiliated with or being compensated by any of the organizations listed.
